This month, I had the incredible honor of having my books featured in the Invictus Games library for the families of participants. It was a surreal and deeply meaningful experience to know that my work was part of a space designed to support and uplift the loved ones of these inspiring competitors.
One of the most unforgettable moments was seeing Prince Harry and Meghan Markle visit the library for a book reading—right in front of the shelves where my books were displayed! It was a proud and humbling moment, knowing that my words were present in such a special setting, surrounded by stories of resilience, courage, and hope.
The Invictus Games are more than just a competition; they represent strength, perseverance, and the unbreakable spirit of those who have served. To be a small part of this event, even in the form of books on a shelf, is something I will cherish forever.
A huge thank you to the organizers for including my books and for creating such a meaningful space for the families. And, of course, a heartfelt appreciation to all the participants and their loved ones—your journeys and sacrifices are truly inspiring.
I’m still taking it all in, but I had to share this special milestone with you all. Here’s to the power of books, community, and the unwavering spirit of the Invictus Games!
